9. Google User Data and AI Processing

Pixel Hive connects to your Google Calendar only when you choose to link it, using Google OAuth. We request permission to read the calendars you select (calendar.readonly) and to update the events that are linked to your Pixel Hive jobs (calendar.events).

  • What we access: the event id, title, start and end time, location and description of events on the calendars you select, so that shoot bookings can be created and kept in sync as jobs.
  • What we do with it: create draft jobs from your events, and update a linked event's title and time when you change the job. We do not create or delete events.
  • What we never do: sell your Google data, share it for advertising, or use it to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
  • AI processing: to turn an event into a job, the event's title, description and location text are processed by the OpenAI API (model gpt-4o-mini) to extract the property address and to check that the event is a photo-shoot booking. Attendee names and email addresses are not sent. Under OpenAI's API data usage policy this data is not used to train OpenAI models and is not shared with other customers.
  • Limited Use: Pixel Hive's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Raw or derived Google user data is never used to develop, improve, or train generalized AI/ML models.
  • Disconnecting: you can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from Integrations; we then stop accessing your calendar and delete the stored calendar connection.

Pixel Hive's photo features (AI organization, enhancement and editing) process only the photographs you upload to Pixel Hive; they never receive Google Calendar or Google Photos data.

10. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
